THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN PARTICIPATING IN
THE SCHOLAR AMBASSADOR BLOG FOR LASPAU-ADMINISTERED PROGRAMS

As a Laspau-administered scholar, you are part of a unique network of over 18,000 individuals throughout the Americas who have pursued educational opportunities for the betterment of your country. Whether you are currently in your program or have already finished, we want to hear more about your experiences.

Why participate?

Imagine how many individuals from all over Latin America and the Caribbean who would like to have the same academic opportunity that you have had. Imagine other scholars who, like you, have studied abroad and had diverse and enriching experiences very different from your own. By sharing your story, you can inspire future generations of scholars and form connections with fellow scholars across the Americas.

How can I get involved?

To become a Scholar Ambassador, you must be willing to authentically and positively share your experience in a way that demonstrates respect for our organization, your sponsoring agency and your host intuition and the region. We know there are many challenges when studying abroad. Through this blog, we hope to inspire and share knowledge that will help others overcome their own challenges and see the value of international exchanges.

You must:

  • be a current or former scholar of a Laspau-administered program,
  • be committed to writing two or more stories within a year, and
  • submit your story on any topic available on next page in English or Spanish. Your story should be no more than 750 words.

Laspau staff will evaluate your story and contact you for further instructions.

For questions or concerns, please contact Gláucia Ribeiro, communications and outreach specialist at glaucia_ribeiro@harvard.edu.
